Annual Birks Lecture Series
The Faculty of Religious Studies, in partnership with the Centre for Research on Religion (CREOR) and the D茅partement d'histoire de l鈥橴QAM, is pleased to welcome Professor Jan Assmann (Heidelberg) as the featured speaker in this year鈥檚 Birks Lecture Series. This distinguished scholar of cultural memory and Egyptology will offer two public lectures on the influence of the Ancient Near East and Mediterranean on the intellectual and religious life of the West.
