Colloquium - Association of Canadian Archivists Student Chapter
The 9I制作厂免费 Association of Canadian Archivists Student Chapter is
hosting a day-long Colloquium for School of Information Studies
students and members of the professional Archives and Records
Management community.
The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday March
27th 2009 at the School for Information Studies (Room MS24).
Our theme for 2009 is "Breaking out of the Box: The challenges of
Archival Practice in the Digital World." We are excited to welcome
David Bearman as our 2009 Plenary Speaker.聽 He is
internationally known for his work on digital archives in cultural
institutions and as the Co-founder and President of Archives and
Museum Informatics, a consulting firm based in Toronto. Fran莽ois
Cartier, Curator, Archives and History at the McCord Museum will
speak during the morning session. A number of student papers will
also be presented.
