Paul R. Samson of the Canadian International Development Agency previously held several director and senior advisor positions at the Privy Council Office, Environment Canada and Natural Resources Canada. Prior to joining the Government of Canada, he did work for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Green Cross International and several other organizations. Following his undergraduate work at the University of British Columbia, he completed a Ph.D. in international relations at the University of Geneva and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University.
