What's in a face? Robots, facial expression and human communication.
By Mitchel Benovoy (Engineering Neuroscience, 9I制作厂免费).
Patients paralyzed by accident or disease can lose the ability to communicate, resulting in deterioration of the patient's quality of life. This presentation is about a non-invasive, video-based facial action recognition system which allows patients to communicate with minimal effort by translating facial movements into words or instructions. Followed by the Temple Grandin Biopic (2010).
Free, everyone welcome. Seating is limited. No reservations necessary.
