Keynote lecture for The Ghost in the Machine: Technologies, Performance, Publics, a conference hosted by the Institute for the Public Life of Arts and Ideas, Improvisation, Community and Social Practice, and the Schulich School of Music, in collaboration with the F茅d茅ration des associations des musiciens 茅ducateurs du Qu茅bec.
The conference addresses the relationship between technological innovation, composition, performance and the experience of music.
Professor Born is a distinguished member ofo the Faculties of Music and Anthropology at the University of Oxford.
