Strategies for Success and INTRODUCTION OF SSHRC REVISED PROGRAM ARCHITECTURE
Invitation to an Information Session and Q & A with OSR
听
If you plan to apply for grants from the Social Sciences and
Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) this Fall (or in Fall 2011) you
should find useful a grantsmanship session designed specifically
for the Faculty of Education. The session will provide an overview
of the peer review process, a discussion of the upcoming REVISED
SSHRC PROGRAM ARCHITECTURE, discussion CIHR听 programs for
social scientists and Q & A.
CIHR/SSHRC are in the process of making some major revisions to
their program and we all want to be prepared! This session will
give us information about the changes and what to expect in the
upcoming year.
The session will open with a short briefing by Rupa
Narasimhadevara, Grants Officer in OSR, followed by a
presentation by other OSR Colleagues who will discuss CIHR funding
and implications for social scientists specifically in
education.
In addition, Dr. Alenoush Saroyan and Dr.
David Dillon will share their insights from their
experiences sitting on SSHRC committees.
