Nathalie Des Rosiers, General Counsel of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Executive Director of the Canadian Civil Liberties Education Trust, will speak on the Association's intervention in the Omar Khadr case.
She will discuss the following questions:
1) the judicial incertainty surrounding citizen rights beyond borders: the legal, political and moral issues.
2) Diplomatic relations: a discreet space with legal immunity?
3) Why has Omar Khadr become a symbol of what went wrong after September 11, 2001?
