J. Sakarovitch will speak on a new method of representing positive integers and real numbers in a rational base which is being considered. It amounts to computing the digits from right to left, least significant first. Joint work with S. Akiyama (Univ. of Niigata) and Ch. Frougny (Univ. Paris VIII and LIAFA).
