Summer Institute of Jurilinguistics
The first two Institutes of Jurilinguistics, held in 2005 and 2006, attracted a great deal of interest and a wide range of participants from the fields of legal translation, terminology, law and language, and jurilinguistics training.
Earlier this year, the Network of Jurilinguistics Centres was created to give a concrete structure to the long-standing cooperation between the four Canadian jurilinguistic centres: the Quebec Research Centre of Private and Comparative Law (Montreal), the Institut Joseph-Dubuc (Winnipeg), the Centre for Legal Translation and Documentation (Ottawa), and the Centre de traduction et de terminologie juridiques (Moncton).
Within the framework of the new network, we have decided to revive the Summer Institute of Jurilinguistics. The Qu茅bec Research Centre of Private and Comparative Law will organize the 2009 edition here at 9I制作厂免费. We expect that it will be a fruitful and interesting day for participants.
