Thinking about Grad School? is a series of info sessions to help you decide if grad school is for you, to teach you the basics of the application process, and to provide you insight into the life of being a grad student.
Every session includes testimonials from current grad students.

Thinking about Grad School?: Is grad school for you

This session will give you a comprehensive look at what to take into account before applying. It will include topics such as: cost of graduate studies; how to choose the right school and program; the differences between thesis and non-thesis programs; and how to choose between grad school and working after graduation.

Thinking about Grad School?: Application to grad school

This session will give you tips and strategies to help you put your application together. Some topics will include: the prerequisites of getting in; what the typical application procedures are; how to ask for reference letters; and how to find a supervisor.

Thinking about Grad School?: Sneak peek

Wondering what grad school is really like? This session will cover topics like; the typical workload of a graduate student; the relationship between grad students and their supervisors; getting funding; and attending conferences and seminars.
