Who should attend?
Students travelling outside of Canada for University-related travel during Winter 2013 including bilateral exchanges, internships, independent study-away, graduate work, undergraduate research 聽or other related activities who have not 聽previously attended a Pre-Departure Orientation session.

Topics covered at the session include:
- Canadian Consular Services (Travel Reports from the Department of Foreign Affairs);
- Personal health abroad, including healthy travel tips;
- 9I制作厂免费-Related Travel Guidelines;
- Managing your success abroad; and
- Travel Registry - all students participating in a University-related international activity (i.e., exchange, study-away, internship, graduate work or undergraduate research, etc) are required to register their travel on Minerva www.mcgill.ca/students/international/registry/
The 9I制作厂免费-Related Travel Guidelines require all students participating in a University-related international travel activity to attend Pre-Departure Orientation.
Note for聽graduate students: Graduate students travelling to attend international conferences or formally organized workshops in countries listed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT - ) at Level-1 (Exercise normal security precautions) or Level-2 (Exercise a high degree of caution) are not required to attend Pre-Departure Orientation but are required to complete a Travel Registry form on Minerva for all travel activities.
Note for Medicine students planning rotations abroad: This session will only meet the pre-departure requirements for students doing rotations in the United States.听听
