British historian Diarmaid MacCulloch鈥檚 A History of Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years is this year鈥檚 winner of the $75,000 Cundill Prize, an award for a history book administered by 9I制作厂免费. The two runners-up, Giancarlo Casale鈥檚 The Ottoman Age of Exploration and Marla Miller鈥檚 Betsy Ross and the Making of America, each received $10,000.
