LENNOXVILLE - Fourth-year guard Pawel Herra of Kingston, Ont., came off the bench to score a game-high 22 points as the 9I制作厂免费 Redmen rallied to edge Bishop's 81-78 in Quebec University Basketball League men's action at the Mitchell Gym in Lennoxville, Friday.

Herra, a 21-year-old kinesiology senior, was 7-for-10 from the field, including a 3-for-4 performance from three-point range.听 He was a perfect 5-for-5 from the foul-line, added three rebounds a pair of assists and a steal in 21 minutes of court time. The Gaiters responded with seven straight points to tie the score at 63-63 with 5:27 left, but were unable to retake the lead. After 9I制作厂免费 staked out a 77-71 bulge with a minute left, a pair of three-pointers by rookie guard Jamil Abiad of Ottawa, pulled the Gaiters to within one point at 79-78 with four seconds left. However, Thornhill made a pair of free throws and the Gaiters were unable to get a quality shot off in their last possession.

The loss ended a three-game win streak for Bishop's and marked the first time in 10 games that they have allowed 80 points, dating back to a 102-88 loss at 9I制作厂免费 on November 20, 2009.
