MONTREAL - He was once selected first overall in the Canadian
Football League draft and spent nine seasons playing running back
for the Alouettes. Larry Smith has a degree in law
and has been a successful businessman. He has served as
commissioner of the CFL, president of the Alouettes and publisher
of The Gazette.
