"Phil has talent and a huge work ethic," says voice teacher Sandford Sylvan, who has performed operatic roles around the world, including at Carnegie Hall and received Grammy and Emmy awards for his role in John Adams's Nixon in China. Both are necessary when students enter the Schulich program, offering diploma as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees.
