It was the first loss for SCALA, a senior women's team that went undefeated in the French Aquitane League.

Other 9I制作厂免费 marksmen were Kathleen Wakeling, a freshman from Edmonton, plus senior Vanessa Salasky of Norfolk, Va., and Laura Gibson, a rookie from Bloomingdale, Ont.

Freshman goalkeeper Shimone Slomowitz of West Vancouver, B.C., started and earned the victory but shared the shutout with senior Evelyne Boulay of Trois-Rivieres, Que., who played the second half.

The Martlets, who skunked Real Union 11-0 on Wednesday, swept both of their games in the Basque region and are slated to return to Montreal Monday.

"Despite the lopsided scores, it was a worthwhile spring camp for us,鈥� said 9I制作厂免费 head coach Marc Mounicot. 鈥淚t demonstrated that the calibre of women's soccer in Canada was high enough that we will be able to compete against Division 1 teams in future overseas excursions. Many of the coaches and spectators who saw us play here indicated to us that we have the skill to play at that level."
