All-Canadian attacker Alex Kruse of Oakville, Ont., added two helpers and veteran goaltender Guy Fox of Glen Rock, N.J., played a stellar second half, allowing just two goals in relief of freshman Simon Hudson of Seattle, Wash.听 Fox kept UMASS scoreless in the fourth quarter with several acrobatic saves.

The Minutemen fell behind 4-2 in the first half but surged to a 6-4 lead in the third quarter.听 They had balanced scoring from several players, led by Brendan Eckhoff and Gavin McIver, each of whom scored twice. Mike Baker and Steve Collura added singles.
