Extended closure of the Steinberg Simulation Centre until June 5, 2020

Dear colleagues,

In keeping with 9I��’s directives to cancel all in-person events, please note that the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning will be closed until June 5, 2020 inclusively and that all workshops and activities scheduled up to that date will be cancelled.

It is crucial that we respect the government’s ban on in-person gatherings and continue to take key hygiene precautions. These measures are the only ways we can “flatten the curve” — and the sooner we do that, the sooner we can get back together.

Montreal, Thursday, November 8, 2018 – With the financial support of L’Appui national pour les proches aidants d’aînés and the collaboration of 9I��’s Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (SCSIL), the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Society of Quebec is proud to launch a virtual education program Taking Care, intended for those caring for someone living with ALS.

Daring to explore with physician astronaut David Saint-Jacques

It’s not every day that an astronaut visits our Centre! On December 20, 2018, Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques will fly to the International Space Station on his first mission. During his assignment, he will conduct a series of scientific experiments, robotics tasks and test new technologies.

Community nursing is an important focus for students who are completing their final year of the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) – BSc(N) program at the Ingram School of Nursing (ISoN). Collaborating with peers in small groups, they are assigned to work with a community-based organization in order to apply what they learned in class to a real-world project.
