Lightning talks consist of a 5-minute presentation highlighting open research, cutting-edge practice, or both. We are hoping to feature a range of presentations representing many disciplines.

November 1 | Macdonald Campus Library closes at 5PM

Due to an electrical shutdown, the Macdonald Campus Library will close at 5PM on Tuesday, November 1.聽

This shutdown is necessary for Facilities to relocate an electrical disconnect switch at the Macdonald Stewart Building.

Nov. 15 - 18 | Inspection of Fire Alarms, Sprinklers & Extinguishers at McLennan-Redpath

As part of 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 ongoing efforts towards ensuring a safe environment, the Fire Prevention service will once again be performing annual inspections of the fire detection and suppression systems. This year聽Leclerc聽will be performing these tests which involve verifying all components of systems within each building.

All spaces in the McLennan-Redpath Complex are for quiet study EXCEPT for the following areas.

Accessing McLennan-Redpath materials during the Collections Centre move-in period

Two major parallel infrastructure projects鈥攁 new Collections Centre and Fiat Lux will transform the quality of services and spaces the Library offers. Library staff members are preparing for the movement of collections, spaces, and services in advance of renovation and construction activities. Part of this process includes planning the movement of materials to the Collections Centre, which is currently under construction and scheduled to begin ingesting books in mid-2023 and be fully operational in early 2024.

View recent search history in Library account

Earlier this year, it was announced that it is now possible to opt in to retain and view your recent borrowing history in your 9I制作厂免费 Library account.聽

Library users are also now able to view their recent search history. All users can view recent searches from their current browser session by clicking on the 鈥渟earch history鈥� link in the menu bar above the search results.

Osler Library of the History of Medicine reopens August 29, 2022

After several years of reconstruction work, the Osler Library of the History of Medicine is set to reopen with full service on Monday, August 29, 2022. The Osler Library will be open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We would like to thank the 9I制作厂免费 community and scholar partners for their patience and collaboration during this renovation work.

9I制作厂免费 catalogue interface changes coming August 24

As of Wednesday, August 24, significant changes will be made to the 9I制作厂免费 catalogue interface. As shown in the accompanying image, the dropdown menu for result sorting options that was located at the top of search results will now appear on the left panel with other search options such as grouping related editions and expanding searches. Also, the 鈥淕roup This Search鈥� accordion will display as collapsed by default and will read: 鈥淪earch Result Display鈥�. Last, the 鈥淩efine This Search鈥� accordion will now also display as collapsed by default and will read 鈥淓xpand This Search With鈥�.
