Professor Vrinda Narain is the recipient of the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice鈥檚 2017 Charles D. Gonthier Research Fellowship. She will present results of her research project entitled 鈥淒ifference and Inclusion: Reframing Multiculturalism and Reasonable Accommodation鈥� at CIAJ鈥檚 Annual Conference on diversity this fall.

Me Toteda will work closely with Faculty members and engaged alumni to revise the mandatory second-year course in Legal Ethics and Professionalism and the upper-year course in Advocacy. The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Omar Farahat as Assistant Professor.
Dr. Farahat completed his Ph.D. at Columbia University in 2016, after which he worked as a Research Fellow at Yale Law School. Prior to that, he obtained a dual law degree from Universit茅 Paris 1 Panth茅on-Sorbonne and Cairo University in 2004, an LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2007, and an interdisciplinary M.A. in the humanities from New York University in 2010. He has practiced law in Cairo, New York, and Paris.
