I know that this week鈥檚 news of construction-related classroom closures in the Raymond building has made for a frustrating start to the new academic year for many of you. It is especially disappointing given the ongoing disruptions the community has experienced as a result of construction work.
I want to assure you that 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 senior leadership is aware of the problems and remains focused on resolving them.
In June, we wrote to inform you that some of the work related to the major renovation project underway at the Raymond Building had restarted, mainly exterior work, including the replacement of the roof.

As we transition from summer to a new academic year, I would like to warmly welcome new and returning Macdonald Campus community members and wish you all a good start to the fall term.
As instructors and students prepare for the start of classes, I must regretfully inform you that, due to unexpected construction-related issues, the following Macdonald Campus classrooms are temporarily inaccessible: R1-042, R4-045, R4-046/048, R4-047.

We are pleased to inform you that the drinking water advisory for Carrefour Sherbrooke student residence has now been lifted. The water is safe to drink and use in food preparation. It was retested twice last week, with samples taken less than 72 hours apart, as per provincial regulation.
This follows the lifting of the water advisories at La Citadelle and Elizabeth Wirth on August 10, 2023.
Dear members of the Macdonald Campus community,
Please do not drink the water from Barton Building taps and fountains until further notice. You must also avoid using it in meal preparation and teeth-brushing. The water is safe for washing hands and dishes. A routine water test in one washroom indicated that lead levels were above the regulatory threshold.
To ensure that occupants are aware of the issue, we are putting up signage and shutting off water fountains.
It can be hard for family members to find accommodations while their loved one is hospitalized at The Neuro (Montreal neurological Institute-Hospital).
The Neuro-Patient Resource Centre has created many years ago a list of accommodations near The Neuro and keeps it updated.
Finding reliable health information online can be difficult.
The MUHC Patient Resource Centres, including us, created a list of questions to ask yourself to help see if the information is reliable.

We have a new brochure available in French and in English for our NPRC users. It talks about delirium in the hospital and gives tips for families and friends. Feel free to come see us in room 354 during our opening hours to take a copy.
We also brought copies of the brochure to inpatient units of The Neuro for staff to deliver directly to family and friends.
