Abstract:
Our group investigates challenging inorganic and organometallic catalytic systems using methodologies of our own devising, with a particular emphasis on mass spectrometry. Examples will be provided from a range of catalytic transformations, but the experimental and data-processing approaches used are broadly applicable to diverse areas of chemistry.
Bio:
Scott was born and educated in New Zealand before doing a postdoctoral fellowship and working as a college lecturer at the University of Cambridge. He came to UVic in 2003 as assistant professor and is full professor since 2015.
