Step into the past, walking the streets of one of听Calgary oldest communities.
Join Elbow Park Residents Association's Heritage Director,听Tracey J. Johnson, as she explores the heritage buildings, prominent past听residents, and community highlights of one of Calgary's oldest neighborhoods.听
From colorful characters, to streetcars, to the old telephone building, this听walk takes you back in time and paints a picture of what life was like in this听unique and picturesque community. The tour will touch on some of the听architecture, provide a before and after of some of the more notable buildings听and their occupants, and give a general sense of life back 100 years ago.
The tour begins and ends at Christ Church. There are approximately 10 stops, and the tour is听about 2 - 2.5 hours long.听
