LABONTE, BETTEZ SHARE MCGILL MVP HONOURS
Goaltender Charline Labont茅 of Boisbriand and centre BCom Ann-Sophie Bettez of Sept 脦les shared the spotlight as co-MVPs of the 9I制作厂免费 women's hockey team as they concluded their national championship season with an emotional yearend awards gala at the 9I制作厂免费 Sports Centre on Friday.
Marie-Andr茅e Leclerc-Auger, a freshman from Sherbrooke, earned Martlets rookie-of-the-year honours and garnered another piece of silverware as the team's top sniper. Catherine Ward, a third-year senior from Town of Mount Royal, who also captured silver with Team Canada at the IIHF world championship in Finland last week, took home the team's most outstanding defenceman award.
