Alumni Highlight: KPE Grads in 2019 Olympic Hall of Fame!
This year's inductees into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame include聽Faculty of Education alumni from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, who were part of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic women's hockey team.聽Goaltenders Charline Labont茅 (B.Ed '11, M.SportPsych '15) and Kim St. Pierre (B.Kin '04) were on hand along with Peter Smith (B.Ed '79, M.SportPsych '86), who served as an assistant coach for the gold medal team.

Nearly 60 Cree students their graduation from 9I制作厂免费's Faculty of Education this past Saturday in Pikogan, Quebec. Our Office of First Nations and Inuit Education offers full-time and part-time teacher certification programs in Cree and Inuit communities in Quebec as well as in Kahnawake and Listuguj. Even though these students may be far away off campus, they are an important part of our Faculty and the 9I制作厂免费 community.聽CBC's Susan Bell covered the story.
