IASL participates in the 5th USSPACECOM Legal Conference
The 9I制作厂免费 Institute of Air and Space Law was proud to once again support the 5th US Spacecom Legal Conference in Colorado Springs. This two-day event brought together legal practitioners, academics, and military personnel to explore key developments in space law.
IASL Executive Director Stefan-Michael Wedenig contributed to the discussions with insights on the law of armed conflict and the implications of artificial intelligence. It was also a pleasure to reconnect with many of our alumni and engage in thought-provoking exchanges.
Additionally, we provided an update on the IASL鈥檚 MILAMOS project. Led by Prof. Ram Jakhu (Director Emeritus of the IASL) and David Kuan-Wei Chen, this initiative aims to develop a comprehensive manual clarifying international law applicable to both military and non-military uses of outer space. Volume II of the Manual is set for publication later this year.
