Con 24 a帽os de experiencia, se ha dedicado a las acciones populares, acciones de clase y litigio estrat茅gico a favor de los derechos humanos y el medio ambiente, defendiendo a comunidades campesinas y afrodescendientes en situaci贸n de extrema pobreza, impactadas por las actividades de las empresas y el Estado colombiano.

German Ospina is a Colombian lawyer who specializes in commercial and administrative law, with a postgraduate degree from the Pontifical Bolivarian University of Colombia, as well as in maritime law from the University of Aix-en-Provence, France. With 24 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to class and collective actions and strategic litigation in favor of human rights and the environment, defending campesino and Afro-descendant communities living in extreme poverty and impacted by the activities of companies and the Colombian State.
With more than 20 years of commitment to international advocacy, he has brought cases before the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights and the United Nations special procedures, thus contributing to the recognition and protection of the rights of the most vulnerable populations in the face of systemic abuse and injustice.
