Schulich Library of Science & Engineering closing at 10pm on Monday, October 3
Please note that the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering will be closing two hours earlier than usual听at 10pm in order for听Facilities Management and Ancillary Services to shut down water supply and install a听new water meter system. Work will begin at 10pm and should be completed by 6am the next morning.听
Upcoming changes to PressDisplay, September 26
On Monday, September 26, the Library PressDisplay desktop platform is being updated. You will still be able to access the same worldwide newspaper content as well as create a personal account to customise your home newspaper feed or create your own collections. This update does not affect the PressReader mobile app.

Changes to billing for lost overdue items
Beginning August, 24, 2016, Library borrowers will be billed for the replacement cost of items that are not returned or renewed听14听days after the due date, except for items in high demand that cannot be renewed: after 2 days for reserve material, and after 10听days for items that have been recalled. (Previously, bills for replacement were sent to users after 40 days for overdue items and 21 days for recalled overdue items.)
Water shutdown in the McLennan-Redpath Complex Saturday, August 20
Please note, there will be a City of Montreal water shutdown at the McLennan-Redpath Complex on听Saturday, August 20 from听9am to听noon.听It will affect the water in both the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings.
During this time, please use the washrooms located on the first floor of the Bronfman Building (1001 Sherbrooke Street West).

Baroque Concert at the Osler Library of the History of Medicine
On Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m., the Osler Library of the History of Medicine will host a concert featuring Vincent Lauzer as part of the 14th annual Baroque Festival. The concert will showcase听works for recorder by young Quebec composers with Baroque influences.
