Graduate program info session: Bioresource Engineering (MSc, MSc Applied, PhD)
9I制作厂免费, including its Macdonald Campus, is known throughout Canada and around the world for conducting pioneering and innovative research. At Macdonald, more than one-quarter of our students are graduate students, making the campus a hub for discussion and debate regarding issues of the environment of natural and human-influenced ecosystems, biosciences and bioproducts for the benefit of society, food, food safety, nutrition and health. Graduate programs聽are offered by all the academic units on the Macdonald Campus.
The Department of Bioresource Engineering is home to an interdisciplinary program that integrates engineering, design, and the biological sciences. We apply engineering principles to the enhancement and sustainability of the world鈥檚 natural resources. Bioresource engineers seek solutions to problems that involve plants, animals, and the environment.
If you are interested in:
- Stewarding the environment and natural resources (water, soil, plants, animals)
- Creating systems to produce crops, livestock, and biomass
- Transforming agricultural commodities and biomass into food, fibre, fuel, and biochemicals
Then our programs could be for you!
We offer traditional thesis-based research programs (MSc, PhD) as well as non-thesis master鈥檚 programs with concentrations in:
- Water resources management
- Food and bioprocessing
- Environmental engineering
