MURA has selected two wonderful Montreal organizations that are doing remarkable work in our community.
Our members have the opportunity to volunteer at the following two groups – bring a friend!

Welcome Hall Mission

Nestled in the heart of St. Henri, Welcome Hall Mission has been a beacon of hope since 1892. As the largest access point for assistance in Montreal, this organization provides a wide range of vital programs for people experiencing homelessness, families in crisis, young single mothers, at-risk youth, and of course, our cherished seniors. We currently have a MURA team registered for Food Distribution, every other Friday for the 8am-12pm timeslot, starting February 7th but feel free to select any other day and time of convenience.

Entraide Bénévole Metro (EBM)

Founded in 1985, EBM is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors aged 60 and over in downtown Montreal and parts of Westmount. This organization offers crucial support for individuals facing temporary or permanent challenges in their autonomy. Additionally, if you’re looking for services and reside in Ville Marie or Westmount, give EBM a call at (514) 939-9575 and let them know you’re a MURA member. They are committed to connecting MURA volunteers with former 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñians in need.
