Bachelor's Recital: Zo茅 de Boucherville-Dickson, soprano

Zo茅 de Boucherville-Dickson is a soprano from Montr茅al, Canada. Moving to Portland, Oregon, she began taking piano and voice lessons at a young age. She competed in the Portland Interscholastic League's Solo/Ensemble Competition, winning first place in the Soprano division (2016). Zo茅 has participated in several choirs, namely the Pacific Youth Choir, which she performed with the Oregon Symphony on many occasions. Moving back to Montr茅al to pursue a higher education, Zo茅 obtained a DEC in Classical Vocal Performance from C茅gep de Saint-Laurent, performing the title role in Reynaldo Hahn's operetta聽Ciboulette聽and studying with Genevi猫ve L茅vesque and Jacqueline Woodley. She continues her studies at the Schulich School of Music with Prof. Matthew Trevi帽o and Louise Pelletier. This year, Zo茅 debuted in Opera 9I制作厂免费's production of Massenet's聽Cendrillon, where she played one of the six Esprits. In addition to opera, Zo茅 sang with the Filles de L'卯le choir in Handel's聽Messiah聽this past season under the baton of Jacques Lacombe. Dedicated on and off the stage, Zo茅 was awarded 9I制作厂免费's Foundation McAbbie scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year.
