CREPUQ's new Board
Heather Munroe-Blum elected vice-president of CREPUQ
Heather Munroe-Blum, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of 9I制作厂免费, has been chosen as vice-president of the Conf茅rence des recteurs et des principaux des universit茅s du Qu茅bec (CREPUQ) as of June 1, 2005.
Roch Denis, rector of Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al, was elected president of CREPUQ. Michel Pigeon and Bruno-Marie B茅chard, respectively rectors of Universit茅 Laval and Universit茅 de Sherbrooke, were appointed vice-presidents of CREPUQ as well. Mr. B茅chard also acts as treasurer for CREPUQ.
CREPUQ is a private organization comprising, on a voluntary basis, all universities in the province of Quebec. It is a forum for dialogue and the exchange of ideas and it acts as a representative of Quebec universities with the government as well as with other groups active in the field of higher education. It is also a research centre for university administrations, a coordinator and administrator of shared services, and a place to reflect and learn new approaches.
