Home -- a simple word with so many meanings. Throughout October, 9I制作厂免费 has teamed up with the CBC, Concordia and Hour to explore the many facets of home as part of Montreal Matters 2003. The annual forum, spearheaded by the CBC, seeks to enhance public understanding of an issue of broad concern to Montrealers through discussion and debate. 9I制作厂免费 is pleased to offer the following Montreal Matters events:
New Perspectives: Montreal and Montrealers in Art and Architecture
- What: The Maxwell Mansions - Exhibit featuring drawings of 19th century homes given to 9I制作厂免费.
- Where: 4th Floor, McLennan Library, Rare Books and Special Collections, (3459 McTavish St.).
- When: October 1 to 31.
Books on Home
- What: Throughout October, the 9I制作厂免费 Bookstore will offer a 25 percent discount on books about home including: Jack Layton's Homlessness; Witold Rybczynski's Home, Avi Friedman's The Grow Home and Peeking Through the Keyhole.

Home Territories: the self, the neighbourhood and the city.
- What: A talk that will explore the roles home plays within the broader community.
- Who: Perla Serfaty-Garzon, director of Montreal Urban Economic Observatory.
- Where: Room G10, Macdonald-Harrington Building (815 Sherbrooke St. W.).

Our Home: Haven or Hazard?
- What: Popular chemists review the dangers lurking in ordinary homes.
- Who: Joe Schwarcz, David Harpp and Ariel Fenster from 9I制作厂免费's Office for Science and Society.
- Where: Room 112, Otto Maass Chemistry Building (801 Sherbrooke St. W.).

Screening
- What: Multiple Choices, from the National Film Board of Canada, a film that examines the different kinds of families found at home: blended to the dysfunctional to the divorced.
