Ann Dowsett Johnston, a leading Canadian journalist and advocate for quality in higher education, has been appointed to the position of Vice-Principal (Development, Alumni and University Relations) of 9I制作厂免费 for a five-year term starting February 6, 2006.

Ms. Dowsett Johnston is recognized as one of Canada's powerful voices in support of the cause of higher education. An award-winning journalist and book editor with more than two decades of media and communications experience, she has been a leading editor and writer on issues related to higher education. Notably, she has been the principal architect since 1992 of the Maclean's university rankings, Canada's foremost authority on university rankings. She also launched the Maclean's Guide to Canadian Universities in 1996, the Maclean's Guide to Canadian Colleges in 1999, as well as other best-selling publications on higher education.
