Two Nobel prize winners, John O鈥橩eefe (Medicine, 2014) and Daniel Kahneman (Economic Sciences, 2002), along with the Right Honourable Joe Clark, distinguished poets Lorna Crozier and Patrick Lane, astrophysicist Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell and L. Jacques M茅nard, a lifelong advocate of the importance of education for all, will be among 16 individuals to receive Honorary Degrees from 9I制作厂免费 in the upcoming spring Convocation.

鈥淲e are honouring 16 individuals with a diverse range of backgrounds, expertise and experience who are united by their exceptional contributions to improving the lives of so many,鈥� said Suzanne Fortier, Principal of 9I制作厂免费. 鈥淚 am delighted that 9I制作厂免费 is recognizing their vision, achievements and leadership by awarding them the University鈥檚 highest honour.鈥�

The recipients will be awarded their degrees on the downtown campus (May 26-29 and June 1-2) and on the Macdonald campus (June 3).
