Quebec government shows strong leadership on health education, research and care
9I制作厂免费 lauded the Quebec government today for giving the go-ahead to the 9I制作厂免费 Health Centre project to build a 500-bed specialized health sciences facility on the Glen Yards.
"We are delighted with the decision and we applaud the Quebec government's strong leadership on this crucial issue," said Heather Munroe-Blum, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of 9I制作厂免费.
"The MUHC project will provide Quebecers with a leading-edge health, research and teaching facility that will be one of the best in the world," she said. "This is fantastic news for Quebec, for health care, research and medical education."
Dr. Munroe-Blum also praised the Quebec government for its commitment to keep the Shriners Hospital in Montreal as part of the new health sciences centre.
"The Shriners Hospital is an invaluable asset for Quebec. We have a long and successful relationship with the Shriners and we are determined to do what is necessary to ensure that the hospital stays and grows with the MUHC," she said.
