For the roughly 25 percent of the US workforce that does shift work鈥攋obs like nursing, manufacturing, or hospitality鈥攑ulling the graveyard shift is likely to be tough. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a minority of workers who do adapt,鈥 says Boivin.
