The purpose of this program is to assist new researchers who have just launched their careers to become established as independent researchers and to become competitive nationally and internationally.

Ìý

New Researchers in natural sciences, mathematical sciences and engineering who are planning to apply to the upcoming FRQNT New University Researchers competition (2016-2017) will have the opportunity to meet Guy Tremblay and will receive pertinent information including objectives and requirements of the New University Researchers Start-Up Program, evaluation process and evaluation criteria, as well as strategies for creating successful proposals.

1. Introduction of Guest speaker by Linda Kemp, Grants and Agreements Officer
2. Presentation of program and best practices for sound grant application by Dr. Guy Tremblay
3. OSR Internal process by Linda Kemp, Grants and Agreements Officer
4. Q&A Period. Participants are encourage to raise any questions they may have about the Program and its application process. For those who wish, questions may be sent in advance to linda [dot] lk [dot] kemp [at] mcgill [dot] ca
