Recently, 9I制作厂免费 undergraduate students had the opportunity to savor an enriching blend of knowledge and soup at the 37th edition of Soup & Science. This week-long event, occurring once a semester, highlights research taking place on campus. This semester鈥檚 showcase included topics across disciplines, ranging from quantum meta-photonics to optogenetic stimulation in roundworms, and students were able to learn and engage with these topics in an intimate setting.

A push for more women in computer science

When Jade Raymond, BSc鈥�98, studied at 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 School of Computer Science, she was one of few women in the program and 鈥淚 think the only woman I knew in my year who went and got a job as a programmer in computer science after graduating.鈥�

M87* One Year Later: Proof of a persistent black hole shadow

MSSI Innovation Fund recipients announced for 2023

Every year, the MSSI Innovation Fund provides support to 9I制作厂免费 faculty members to accelerate the development of an idea or a technology toward widespread societal adoption by funding research that informs policy or moves an innovation toward commercialization. This year鈥檚 fund will distribute $100,000 to two projects that have the potential to make electric vehicle batteries and groundwater management more sustainable.
