Café Scientifique: Fitness to Drive - How occupational therapists can support older adults

Take part in a discussion with researchers and occupational therapists about driving fitness for
older adults. Learn how occupational therapists contribute to healthy living, wellbeing, and
injury prevention.


Join us on May 14th 2014 (Wednesday) between 1:30-3:30 pm, or 5:30-7:30 pm at the Good
Companions Seniors' Centre, 670 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

• Dr. Isabelle Gélinas: Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Program of the
School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ


• Lynn Hunt: Occupational Therapist and Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist at The
Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre


• Dr. Brenda H. Vrkljan: Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy Program at the
School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University


• Dr. Julie Lapointe: Occupational Therapist and Interim Director of Professional Practice at
the CAOT
