Overview
Translation : This seminar focuses on translations of some of the important texts in the French cultural canon. The methodology involves diachronic and synchronic analysis on a comparative basis. The objective is to highlight the cultural and linguistic contributions of translations from one cultural community to another and how they may influence one's perception of the English language and culture.
