Génie électrique : Review of basic concepts in signals and microprocessors. Digital Signal Processing microprocessor architecture. Finite precision effects, real-time constraints, assembly language optimization. Implementation of DSP algorithms on a DSP microprocessor platform. Lab experiments on FIR filtering, IIR filtering, FFT computation, LPC analysis, circular and bit-reversed addressing, ping-pong buffering and frame-based processing.
