Take an interactive video tour of IT services at . Here you'll learn about my9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ, the University portal, and myCourses, for all of your online course content. You’ll also find information on accessing your 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ email, connecting to the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ wireless network, taking computer clinics, and downloading free software available to students.

Your 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Email Address (usually in the form of firstname.lastname [at] mail.mcgill.ca) is the University's official means of email communication with you. Wireless: Access the Internet using your laptop or other mobile device from virtually anywhere on campus, through the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Wireless network. Log in to the Wireless network using your 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Username and 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Password.
Virtual Private Network (VPN): If you connect to the Internet with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) other than 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ's Dialup Access, you need to establish a VPN connection to access 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ restricted sites and resources (e.g., Library databases). Connect by VPN using your 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Username and 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Password.
Dialup Access (DAS): If you do not have a high-speed ISP, use 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ’s dialup service and connect to the Internet using your telephone line and a modem. Log in to DAS using your 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Username and 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Password.
9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Residences Telecommunications: For students living in 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Residences and 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Off-Campus Residences, there is a Voice and Data (wired and wireless) service.
