Overview

Mathematics & Statistics (Sci) : Propositional logic and first order logic, completeness, compactness and L枚wenheim-Skolem theorems. Introduction to axiomatic set theory. Some of the following topics: introduction to model theory, Herbrand's and Gentzen's theories, Lindstr枚m's characterization of first order logic.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2017-2018 academic year.
