Overview

Islamic Studies : Introduction to the script and sounds of modern standard Arabic and its basic vocabulary and structure, placing emphasis on the functional use of the language.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2020-2021 academic year.

  • Students who participate at this level have no previous knowledge of the language or have a basic cultural or home connection to Arabic.

  • Prerequisite: Department placement test, instructor approval.
