Overview

Islamic Studies : Advanced examination of research issues related to the experiences and histories of women in the Middle East and the Islamic world. Topics will include patriarchy, women and Islam, women and the state, nationalism and anti-colonialism struggles; labour, public space and theoretical issues.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2020-2021 academic year.
