Chemistry Teaching Assistant Program (Chem TAP) February Workshop: Effective Questioning Skills to Engage Students

In this workshop we'll cover how to respond to student questions without giving away the answer and share questioning strategies for engaging students in the learning process.

Note: this event is for Chemistry graduate students. This Chem TAP workshop can count toward fulfilling TA workload hours for training and professional development. If you've already completed your hours, you are still welcome to attend and participate!听

About the event space (accessibility):听

  • This event will be held in Otto Maass Chemistry Building in the Ruttan Room (Room 321). Otto Maass is located at 801 Rue Sherbrooke West and is accessible by ramp via the main door听 听 (9I制作厂免费 Map).听

  • All levels are accessible by public elevator.听

  • Accessible washrooms are located in the basement and on the third floor.听听

  • The building is lit by fluorescent lighting and not scent-free.听听
