What's changing?
New icons for Bluesky and Threads
We're adding Bluesky and Threads icons to the follow-block displayed in site footers. This change will happen on both the current and new WMS platforms (Drupal 7 and Drupal 10) and should be live soon. This addition will allow your audience to easily connect with you on these emerging social media platforms, expanding your reach and engagement.
Removal of the X Block
As part of our platform update, we've decided to remove the X block in the new WMS (Drupal 10). This change improves user experience - X block reliability has become inconsistent. This will also allow us to maintain our focus on the most relevant and useful social media tools.
Updated follow options on Articles
We also plan to update the follow options on articles in the new WMS. The current functionality will be replaced by a generic share tool that can be used across a wider variety of social media platforms. This update will make it easier for your readers to share your content on their platforms of choice.
