Biography:
Dr. Qi's research focuses on understanding the impacts of engineering measures, management practices, and climate change on hydrology, the environment, and crop growth. His work includes field experimentation and computer modeling, with an emphasis on monitoring hydrology, soil and water quality, and crop growth in irrigated and artificially drained watersheds. He also develops models to address emerging issues such as carbon sequestration and climate change impacts on water resources.
