Cardiovascular Research Day - May 29, 2025

°Õ³ó±ðÌýMaurice McGregor Cardiovascular Research Day will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in person at the Research Institute of the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Health Centre (1001 Decarie Blvd, Montreal, Quebec H4A 3J1).Ìý Oral presentations, including the 2025 Louis & Artur Lucian Award Lecture by Dr. Joseph C. Wu, will be at the Drs. Sylvia & Richard Cruess Amphitheatre (ES1.1129) and poster presentations at the RI MUHC Atrium (ES1).Ìý

The Maurice McGregor Cardiovascular Research Day brings together surgeons, clinicians, researchers, fellows and trainees from our network of hospitals and research institutes, namely 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ, the Research Institute of the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Health Centre, the Jewish General Hospital and the Lady Davis Institute.

Learning Objectives
To outline the cardiovascular research performed at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ
To develop research activities for students, residents, and faculty within the Faculty of Medicine
To discuss updates on new findings, new technologies and new approaches to the detection and management of patients with cardiovascular disease

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their exceptional science in cardiovascular disease research performed at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ.

    Deadline for registration to attend: Tuesday, May 27, 2025 @ 11h30pm

    All participants must register in order to participate at the Maurice McGregor Cardiovascular Research Day held on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

    This activity is accredited by the Office for Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ, which is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Education (CACME) of which the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) is a partner.

    This Group Learning program meets the accreditation criteria as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been approved for up to 4.75 MOC Section 1 credits/hours.

    Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsâ„¢.
